Growth vs Value

Is Bitcoin and value asset or a growth asset? I guess that depends who you ask. 

If you look at the usual definition a value asset is an asset that trades below its fundamental valuation. And a growth asset is an asset that grows much faster than every other comparable opportunity.

Which means that actually you can be at the same time a growth and a value asset if your fundamentals are growing fast but your price isn't catching up.

Now many critics would object that Bitcoin has no fundamental value. To which I'd say that nothing has a fundamental value. We are not talking about the laws of physics here. Any valuation of any financial asset is a pure mental construct.
