The great tension
The Christmas period came and went but Bitcoin did not experience any Christmas rally. Not that it experiences a Christmas dip either…
Bitcoin has basically stayed flat over the past weeks. At least if you put on a Christmas rally trade you shouldn’t have lost any money at this point. Better than nothing.
The stock market didn’t do any better.
Bitcoin’s volatility is actually extremely low historically speaking. Looking specifically at the 30-day rolling volatility of BTC you can see that it falls pretty close to the bottom of the distribution.
